Children’s Programs

AWANA

“Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”  This quote is taken from the Biblical passage of 2 Timothy 2:15.

AWANA is a program for kids to learn about God while having fun. It is a 60 year international ministry that reaches children and families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Faith Bible Church’s goal in this ministry is to help children trust in Christ for salvation, to grow in their biblical faith, and to equip them for service to God. The AWANA club program is available on Friday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30PM running September 7th 2018 – (mid) May 2019.  AWANA helps churches and parents worldwide rear children and youth to know, love and serve Christ!

AWANA is an exciting time of singing, focusing on the Bible, and training in behavior, such as good sportsmanship and respect, through sermons and game-time.  Ages 2 through 6th graders have distinct classes:  Cubbies group for our preschoolers, Sparks group for our K through 2nd graders, and Truth and Training group for our 3rd through 6th graders.

Teen Ministry

The youth group meets for special activities, September through May, at planned times. The youth group is for teens from seventh through twelfth grade. Activities include Bible studies, music, games, and other planned events.

The Highlight of the year is the Teen Mission Trip. Each summer we take a group of teens to a small or struggling church in the northeast and put on a complete Vacation Bible School for that church. The teens do all the teaching for the elementary age children, and adults teach the teen and adult classes

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a summer ministry outreach churches provide to educate children, teens, and adults about God. Teachers at VBS are church leaders, members, and parents (all background checked) volunteering their time. The VBS themes and activities change from year to year and are creatively adapted to teach God’s Word and principles to all ages.
