Sunday School is for Bible students of all ages. We have a nursery for infants and classes for everyone else. The adult class topics change periodically. There is a “Basics for Believers” class for those students new to Bible study.
The Morning Worship Service is designed to allow God’s people the opportunity to give praise and adoration to God by singing, praying and Hearing the Word of God.
EVENING BIBLE HOUR
The Evening Service is an informal service where God’s Word is preached, hymns are sung, and God’s people have the opportunity to share praises and prayer requests. We occasionally have missionaries who share their ministries during this time.
The Prayer Meeting is focused upon praying for the needs of our church family and others outside our church body who have needs. We sing some songs of praise, have a short Bible study, and then approach God in prayer together.

Are there Programs for my Children and Teen(s) at Faith Bible Church?
AWANA is a 60 year international ministry that reaches children and families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Faith Bible Church’s goal in this ministry is to help children trust in Christ for salvation, to grow in their biblical faith, and to equip them for service to God. The Awana club program is available on Friday evenings from 6:30P to 8:30 p.m. and is available to children from kindergarten to 6th grade. AWANA helps churches and parents worldwide rear children and youth to know, love and serve Christ!
Junior Church is held during our Sunday 10:15 a.m. service for children 4 – 8 years old. Every month, your children will learn about a new topic such as “Being Kind”, “Being Obedient”, “Missionary Work”, and “Reading the Bible”. We also teach children about the meaning of holidays such as Easter and Christmas.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) is a ministry outreach churches provide to educate children, teens, and adults about God. Teachers at VBS are church members and parents volunteering their time. The VBS Vacation Themes and Activities change from year to year.
Youth Group meets on Friday evenings, September through May, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and is for youths from seventh grade through twelfth grade. The evening includes songs, Bible Study and game time. The highlight of the year is the Teen Mission Trip.
Teen Mission Trips –Each summer we take a group of teens to a small or struggling church in the northeast and put on a complete Vacation Bible School for this church. The teens do all the teaching for the elementary age children, and adults teach the teen and adult classes.

What We Believe
FBC Mission Statement
The mission of Faith Bible Church is to see the great commission fulfilled in Northwest Connecticut and around the world through a balance of WINNING the seekers, BUILDING the believers, and EQUIPPING the workers, resulting in the making of disciples of Jesus Christ.
We believe in salvation through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone.
We believe the Bible is the inerrant inspired Word of God in the original autographs.
We believe in the personal pre-millennial pre-tribulational return of Jesus Christ for His Saints.
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally inspired Word of God, the final authority for faith and life, inerrant in the original writings, infallible, and God-breathed.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; and that He is the Supernatural Agent of regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption. We believe that God does hear and answer the prayer of faith, in accord with His own will.
We believe that salvation is entirely and only by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, that no work of any description can in any way earn our salvation, but on the other hand, that good works are expected of those who have been born again.
We believe in the one true Church, the body of Christ, composed of all who have been born again through faith in Christ Jesus, and only of such. As members of the one body, all members are united by the Holy Spirit to one another and all in Christ, who is the Head of the Body, the Church.
We believe the following movements are out of harmony with the Word of God and contrary to the official doctrine and position of Faith Bible Church:
- The modern Ecumenical movement with such advocates as the National and World Council of Churches.
- The Neo-Evangelical movement characterized by cooperation and dialogue with theological liberalism.
- The so-called Charismatic movement characterized by a strong emphasis on tongues, healing, and miracles. (I Corinthians 12-14)
Believing this to be the teaching of the Scriptures, and having the witness of the Holy Spiritthat we are the children of God, and therefore, being a part of God’s church on earth, we invite all to unite themselves with us for common edification and Christian work with Jesus Christ as Head and final authority. We also welcome all visitors who wish to learn more about the Lord Jesus.
