Men’s Leadership Training seeks to train men up to be biblical leaders in their families, as teachers in the church, and as elders for the church. We view this as a tool of discipleship for the men in our community to grow into knowledgeable and faithful leaders of God’s people.

The Men’s Leadership Training meetings are conducted by our Pastor and center upon discussion of reading and reviewing curriculum or specifically chosen topics that expose men to a breadth of core issues and topics in theology, family, ministry and other core areas for the purpose of overall spiritual growth.

The first Saturday of every month men to get together and pray for different needs. Men’s Prayer Breakfast begins at 7 AM, with a time of Bible study. After that, they pray and then go out for breakfast at a local restaurant.

The ladies of the church hold Bible studies (times vary) where various different topics are discussed and/or DVD’s are viewed and discussed. It is a great time for fellowship with other ladies and for spiritual growth.

The youth group meets for special activities, September through May, at planned times. The youth group is for teens from seventh through twelfth grade. Activities include Bible studies, music, games, and other planned events. The Highlight of the year is the Teen Mission Trip.

Each summer we take a group of teens to a small or struggling church in the northeast and put on a complete Vacation Bible School for that church. The teens do all the teaching for the elementary age children, and adults teach the teen and adult classes

A.W.A.N.A.– “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”  This is a direct quote from Scripture found in II Timothy 2:15. It is a program for kids to learn about God while having fun. AWANA is a 60 year international ministry that reaches children and families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Faith Bible Church’s goal in this ministry is to help children trust in Christ for salvation, to grow in their biblical faith, and to equip them for service to God.The AWANA club program is available on Friday evenings from 6:30P to 8:30P.  AWANA helps churches and parents worldwide rear children and youth to know, love and serve Christ!  There are over 140 churches in New England and New York who participate in AWANA.  Children attend weekly programs and special events that introduce them to Christ and build a Biblical foundation for their faith. AWANA is an exciting time of singing, focusing on the Bible, and training in behavior, such as good sportsmanship and respect, through sermons and game-time.  Ages 2 through 6th graders have distinct classes.  There are Cubbies for our preschoolers, Sparkies for our K through 2nd graders, and Truth and Training for our 3rd through 6th graders.  All children have one on one time with many of their leaders.  AWANA is a great place to be! AWANA Club Cubbies: Preschoolers (3- to 5-year olds) develop respect for God, His Son and His Word. Preschoolers can hardly wait for their next Cubbies club meeting. Whether it’s the fun puppets, the exciting games or all their “Cubbies friends,” they simply love it. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce Story Time lesson themes. Cubbies helps you lead your child to God early so he/she will respect and trust Him for life.  (For more information on the AWANA Cubbies program and curriculum, click here and visit our church to learn more.

AWANA Club Sparks:  Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids (kindergarten to 2nd grade) to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. Sparks is the highlight of the week! The children love their red vests, the exciting games and spending time with leaders and friends. Did you know that if your Sparkie successfully finishes the three Sparks books by the end of their 2nd grade year, that child gets to go to Sparks O’Rama for the day?  Encourage your child to strive to finish a book a year if in Kindergarten now and more books if older.  New Official Sparks Club Members: Bob V., Amy C., Sam, and Blake. (For more information on the AWANA Sparks program and curriculum, click here and visit our church to learn more.) AWANA Club Truth and Training:  This class is for 3rd through 6th graders.  Handbooks and large-group lessons deepen a child’s knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life.
