Leadership

Brian Steinbach has joined Faith Bible Church as our senior pastor! We are excited to begin this new portion of our ministry here in Winsted. On September 20, 2020 we welcomed Pastor Brian to our fellowship and commissioned him as our new pastor!

Brian was raised in a godly, Christian home. After hearing the Gospel presented several times, Brian accepted Christ as his Savior on Easter Sunday ‘91 at the age of 5. While in 8th grade, his family began attending a new church and realized that they needed to be baptized scripturally, by immersion, as a declaration of their faith and obedience to the Scriptures.

Upon graduating from high school, he attended Maranatha Baptist (Bible College) University to pursue a degree in Mathematics Education. During the summer of his 3rd year at college, he worked at Camp Joy in Whitewater, WI. Halfway through the summer one of the evangelists was preaching from Matthew 6:33 about the importance of seeking God first. The Holy Spirit used this message, as well as the many others he had heard that summer, to get him to realize that he was doing his will and not God’s will. He then surrendered his life to full time Christian service, wherever God would have him. That fall he changed his major to Biblical Studies with a Mathematics minor. After graduating from Maranatha in 2008, Brian accepted a job at Brentwood Baptist Church as a pastoral intern and secondary education teacher.

Stacy also grew up in Christian home. She accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 5 in the Spring of 1991, she was baptized in Lake Superior a few weeks later. Church continued to be a big part of Stacy’s life, learning, serving, and growing. While attending a Bible camp at the age of 14, she dedicated her life to serve God in any way He desired. Stacy later served 6 years in camp ministries, serving a Counselor, kitchen worker, and general service work.  After graduating from Copper Country Christian School in 2004, Stacy attended Northland International University to study History Education. Stacy had the opportunity to serve in Guam during the summer of 2007 where she experienced both the joys and the hardships of ministry.  As God chastened her heart and strengthened her mind, Stacy continued to grow in grace. Following her graduation from Northland in 2009, Stacy accepted her first teaching position at Brentwood Christian Academy in Des Plaines, IL.

It was at Brentwood that he met his wife, Stacy, and they were married in August 2011. Their first child, Anastasia was born in June 2012. That year the Lord directed them away from Brentwood and they moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. While in Michigan, Brian worked at a local hospital as a receptionist and they served the Lord together at L’Anse Baptist Church in L’Anse, MI while seeking the Lord’s direction for a pastoral position. In 2014, they accepted the position of Youth Pastor at Lake County Baptist Church in Waukegan, IL. Brian has been serving both as Youth Pastor and as full-time secondary teacher while Stacy served as a full-time teacher. While at Lake County, they had their first son, Elijah, born in January of 2015 and their second son, Gabriel, born in November 2019.

Brian is working towards completing a MAT, Biblical Studies from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, grilling, and putting together Metal Earth kits.

Stacy enjoys baking, reading cookbooks, and Hallmark movies.

Anastasia has just begun 3rd grade. She accepted the Lord as her Savior a year ago and was baptized a couple of weeks ago. She loves reading, helping mommy bake, and unicorns. Elijah has just completed K4 and has begun Kindergarten. He loves running around, helping daddy grill, and trains. Gabriel just turned one year old. He loves sleeping, eating, and spending time with mommy and daddy.
