Leadership

PASTOR

I was raised in a Christian home with a single mother and her parents. Growing up, I attended church whenever the doors were open. At the age of five, I was enrolled in Omaha Christian Academy. It was not until I turned seven that I began to understand that I was a sinner who was separated from God because of my sin. I asked my grandmother what I must do to be saved. She shared with me, from Scripture, my need for a Savior and told me that, though there was nothing that I could do to earn my way to heaven, Jesus had already died to pay the penalty for my sin and that all I must do is accept Christ as my Savior and repent of my sin. I remember going through the Romans road with her, and then kneeling beside her bed, praying to God, and asking Him to forgive me of my sin and recognizing Him as my Lord and Savior. I was baptized a few years later at the age of ten at Temple Baptist Church in Omaha, NE.
